A NUMBER of fires were tackled in Herefordshire over the weekend.
A vehicle was completely destroyed following a fire near Ross-on-Wye on Friday.
Firefighters were called near the bus shelter in Kingsthorne just after 10.40pm and extinguished the flames.
A shed then caught fire in Brampton Abbotts the following morning.
Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reels to tackle the flames in Wellmead after being called to Wellmead shortly before 12.20am.
A chimney fire was then tackled in Lugwardine.
Firefighters from Hereford and Fownhope were called to the viillage just after 3.35pm.
On Sunday, a bin caught fire in Gloucester Road, Ross-on-Wye, at around 8.20pm, while a a skip fire had to be extinguished in Bridge Street, Hereford, at 2.15am this morning.
