LAST month the Ledbury Ladies British Legion celebrated their 80th anniversary with a tea party followed by songs from the first and second world wars, sung by the members and juniors of Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society, fresh from their successful production of Through The Dark Clouds Shining.
In fact the musical play about life during the two wars was so successful that after the singing, LADS chairman Michael Epps and the show's director Sally Watson presented Jennifer Harrison of The British Legion with a cheque for £500 towards their Poppy Appeal.
