The verse of conflict
THE POETRY of war will be heard in St Mary's Church, Dymock, on July 11, at 7.30pm, when the Poetry Trio take a bow.
The Poetry Trio, comprising of Christine Adams, Sandra Appleton and Wyn Hobson, with give a recital of poems from the First World War, including from the Dymock Poets and some lesser known female poets.
Entrance is £8, and tickets are available from the Ledbury Poetry Festival office, on 0845 4581743.
