ONE million customers have visited Hereford’s new development, the Old Market, in just two months.
Building on a manic launch day on May 1 that saw the new branch of Costa Coffee rank among the most popular of its locations throughout the country, the project has proved a hit with shoppers.
Vodaphone will next week join the ranks, while the much-anticipated arrival of Japanese restaurant Wagamama will soon see the full complement of eateries open on site.
Clothing giant H&M is also expected to open at the end of the summer, with a four-day programme of events over August Bank Holiday set to celebrate the final store openings.
Centre manager Scott Lahive said: “The number of visitors we’ve had at the Old Market is testament to the fact that the centre is a much-welcomed retail and leisure hub for Hereford.
“The new store openings will also ensure we can offer even more variety for our valued shoppers.”
