LEOMINSTER Town Council has deferred making a decision on a new supermarket on Southern Avenue.
The council met last night to consider Morbaine's application for a foodstore and petrol filling station on the current site of Thomas Panels and Profiles.
But after hearing the applicant and objectors, it was decided that a decision would be deferred until July 7 as statutory consultees – the Environment Agency and Highways Agency – had not lodged their responses with Herefordshire Council.
The town centre shopping impact report was also unavailable.
