PLANS for residential development in Clehonger have been approved.
Herefordshire Council's planning committee heard the proposal on land adjacent to Harpacre.
An initial plan indicated that 13 homes, with access off the B4349, could be provided.
This was rejected in a Herefordshire Strategic Housing Land Availability Survey (SHLAA) due to 'inadequate visibility'.
However, the applicants state that they have revisited the site and the new plan shows provision for a pedestrian crossing point.
Councillor Dave Greenow said that the land is a 'prime area for development' and he was happy to support the proposal.
