A TALK on the manhunt for Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s teenage assassin, Gavrilo Princip,will kick off a five-year programme of events on commemorating the First World War on July 4.
Tim Butcher, foreign correspondent and author of The Trigger, a book tracing the search for Mr Princip – whose gunshot ‘heard around the world’ is credited with starting WW1 – will be giving a talk at Lady Hawkins Community Leisure Centre.
Starting at 7.30pm, the event is free for under-16s and Lady Hawkins students, all other tickets at £6 on the door.
Mr Butcher will be available for questions and book signings after.
