PEOPLE who are plagued by a nuisance noise known as the "Leominster hum" are being urged to come forward.

A number of residents in the town claim they have been been losing sleep due to a low frequency, humming noise for a number of years.

And although tests have been carried out previously, there has been no resolution to date. Now, campaigners are awaiting the results of more tests carried out by Herefordshire Council's environmental health team.

The results are expected to be presented in a report this month.

Town Councillor Peter Ellis wants to hear from anyone else who has been affected by the noise.

Email pellis@leominster-noise.co.uk or send a letter to Iain Plumtree, Leominster Town Clerk, at the Town Council Offices at 17 West Street-, Leominster, Herefordshire, HR6 8EP with information.
