HAVING broken the hearts of theatre-goers in the West End and more recently on the big screen, Les Miserables is now set to leave its mark on Hereford.

And it is the county's own talented youth who are taking to the stage to perform their version of one of the world's most popular musicals.

Tomorrow is opening night for youth theatre group X-entricity's rendition of the classic production, which is packed full of iconic songs including I Dreamed A Dream, Bring Him Home, Master of the House, Lovely Ladies and One Day More, at The Courtyard.

With a cast of more than 40 talented young people, more than 300 superb costumes, an impressive set, lighting and sound, and an orchestra of fifteen professional musicians, the show is set to take the county by storm.

The school edition has been specially adapted and licensed for production and will be at The Courtyard from tomorrow until Saturday.

Tickets cost £15 and £12 for concessions and can be bought by calling The Courtyard's box office on 01432 340555 or visiting courtyard.org.uk/events/les-miserables
