The air ambulance has been called to Hay-on-Wye after a man became impaled on a spiked fence.
EMERGENCY services have cordoned off part of Hay-on-Wye this evening.
A man is believed to have fallen and become impaled on a spiked fence in Castle Street.
He is currently being treated for a head injury and the air ambulance has just arrived.
Thousands of people are currently in the border town for the Hay Festival.
