A HEREFORD mobility product specialist has won a regional retailer of the month award.

TPG DisableAids, based in Plough Lane, scooped the prize from mobility scooter supplier TGA.

TPG, which was established by Tony and Pam Gibbs in 1985, is currently run by their son Alastair.

It provides a comprehensive range of mobility products from TGA scooters to wheelchairs, bath lifts and other aids.

"We were so pleased when we received the news and I can credit the award to all the hard work of the TPG team," said Alastair.

"We are truly a family company with my Mum and Dad setting up the business and many relatives being involved.

"We are all passionate about assisting locals regain freedom and peace of mind outdoors and when their mobility has become an issue.

"Being able to give my customers peace of mind only comes through our consistent, trusted service and the provision of quality, reliable and comfortable products."

Daniel Stone, TGA managing director, added: "This award is fully deserved and recognises their hard work, dedication and commitment to helping the local community in a caring and compassionate fashion."
