REBECCA Morris from Llanfair Waterdine has returned home after her epic 1070 mile walk around Wales. She has raised neally £5000 for Shelter Cymru this includes over £600 she had left from her budget and lots of online donations. About her home coming Rebecca said "Wow what a homecoming! Chris (son) and Claire (daughter in law) met me in Knighton and walked the last two hours. Then I met other friends and neighbours along the way and finally at home there must have been about 40 people to wave and cheer. Bunting, balloons, cakes and sandwiches by the score and of course gallons of tea. Quite overwhelming". When she got back she was greeted by Andrew Jones fundraising manager for Shelter Cymru as well as family, friends and neighbours before entering her home for the first time since March 1, when she started her walk. When inside the house she put the final pink dot on the map of her walk around Wales.
