A HEREFORD school is appealing for help in raising £80,000 to build a special playground for its pupils.
Blackmarston Specialist School, Honddu Close, needs the money to build a sensory playground for its 70 primary pupils, all of whom have special educational needs.
Members of two Herefordshire Masonic Lodges, Delphis and Vitruvian, have already donated a total of £3,150 towards the project.
Worshipful Brother Kevin Lyons of Delphis Lodge, said: "The school requires our full support for the dedication and exceptional work undertaken by the staff for the wellbeing of the pupils.”
The school recently unveiled its new state-of-the-art environment which included sensory rooms and a physio suite which had been years in the planning.
