Burghill Brownies spent a day bag packing at the Co-op in Bobblestock to raise money for St Michael's Hospice. On May 6 Paddy Nugent came to talk to the girls about life at St Michael's. He gave an enlightening talk and the Brownies learnt a lot about how the hospice runs, how it gets its money, what goes on there every day and how so many people in the county support them. The girls had plenty of questions for Paddy, including asking what the largest sum of money raised was, and what was the most unusual fundraising event. The Brownies then ended the evening by presenting Paddy with a cheque for £200.
