Pots and Pieces named as Ross-on-Wye's favourite eatery

First published in News

A ROSS-on-Wye tea shop that doubles up as a gift shop has been named as the town's favourite eatery in a competition run by Herefordshire MP Jesse Norman.

Pots and Pieces, run by David and Sara Bruce, was praised for its warm welcomes, friendly atmosphere, cream teas and lemon drizzle cake.

The cafe also sells a range of gifts and jewellery alongside drinks and snacks.

Second place in the Discover Ross competition went to tandoori and balti house Cafe Zam Zam, while Mandy Moos in Cantilupe Road was third.

Mr Norman is now looking for the best pub in and around Ross.

Nominations, which must be sent in by Monday, can be emailed to discoverrossuk@gmail.com
