PEMBRIDGE’S annual garden sculpture exhibition is to launch this weekend.

Opening on Saturday, the exhibition runs throughout the summer at the Old Chapel Gallery.

There will be a number of exhibitors at the event, including sculptor Deborah Scaldwell who has produced terracotta works as well as larger pieces in plaster and straw.

The work of several blacksmiths will also be on show.

Ceramic sculptor Simon Griffiths has created one-off birds and animals in frost proof stoneware while Miranda Michells has worked with stainless and mild steel.

Smaller pieces, made from Portland and Forest of Dean stone, have been produced by Herefordshire sculptor David England.

The gallery is open between Monday and Saturday from 11am to 5pm and from 11am to 4pm on Sundays. For more information, call 01544 388842.
