HEREFORDSHIRE Advanced Motorists are offering to show drivers how to improve observation and increase hazard awareness. Learn how to position your car correctly and be in the right gear, at the correct speed. Other topics are motorway driving, the safest way to approach bends and lane discipline at roundabouts and junctions.

More than 60% of all accidents happen on rural roads – that's Herefordshire, so now is the time to raise your skills to an advanced level. That is exactly what these 12 successful drivers did and they can now proudly display their certificates to prove it.

The next course starts on May 27 at Much Birch, just south of Hereford and May 29 at Leominster, but hurry as MOT and insurance certificates need to be checked in advance of these dates. Full details from Mary Bevan on 01874 712267 or email marybevan@dsl.pipex.com
