LOCAL author Alex Gibbon presented a fascinating talk about The Mystery of Jack of Kent and the Fate of Owain Glyndwr at the the monthly meeting of the U3A.

This was one of many planned events which include The Great War and Local Impact to Murder Magic and Potions In your Garden and Who Killed the Bears? and Other Stories from The Forest of Dean which take place on the second Wednesday of the month at Ewyas Harold Memorial Hall.

The group is now one year old with 75 members and as well as the monthly meetings, has a very varied and exciting number of interest groups. Membership is open to retired and semi retired people in the area (England and Wales!) and there is more information and a newsletter on our website: u3asites.org.uk
