CLEHONGER'S oldest and youngest residents came face to face recently at the coffee morning held every Friday at Innesfield Hall.

Long-time resident Megan Baker, 95, who is known as 'Mother', has lived in Clehonger for over 50 years and has brought up five children in the village. Rachael Louise Hughes, on the other hand, was born on March 18 this year.

Her mum, dad and the family have lived in the village for over 10 years. Everyone is very welcome to pop in to the coffee morning every Friday between 10am and noon for a chat and to meet friends old and new, enjoy tea, coffee, cake, a tabletop sale and a raffle.

Proceeds from the sales go to the Clehonger playing field fund.
