A HEREFORD Sixth Form College (HSFC) student has gained a place with the Year Out Drama Company.
Chloe Darrell has been offered one of 26 places on the course, which offers an opportunity for students to gain practical skills that will help them go to university or a drama school.
It is based in Stratford-upon-Avon and has close links with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
"I am delighted that Chloe’s hard work and dedication which characterises the approach of students in the department has been rewarded by this fantastic opportunity," said Mat Walters, head of theatre studies at HSFC.
"It will be a superb stepping-stone ultimately to progress to a career in acting.”
Chloe auditioned for the course in December and was offered a place in February.
She has since raised the necessary tuition and accommodation fees with the help from the Sylvia Short Educational Charity.
