A COUNTY pub which appeared on a BBC 2 interior design show earlier this year is up for sale.

Docklow's 18th century family-run inn The King's Head is on offer with a guide price of £325,000.

The owners of the property, which has three bedrooms and two en-suite letting rooms, are selling up to focus on their other expanding businesses.

Paula Holland, who appeared in the pub on The Great Interior Design Challenge in January, would also like to fulfil her desire to expand her interior design company.

Nicholas Calfe, of Christie + Co, said: “This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to purchase the pub with the scope to build and develop on the existing land with the possibility of obtaining the land behind the pub which is also up for sale.

“We urge parties to view the property as the business is in a delightful position with huge benefits.”

The property also has planning permission for a two-storey extension with other facilities at the site including ample car parking, a children’s play area, large garden and large patio area for al fresco dining.

The pub remains open for business.
