KAREN Like, pre-school manager, says "This has truly been a very special term. A very big thank you to the staff and parents of Crocodiles for supporting its 40th birthday party, donating gifts, decorating the hall, making cakes, organising stalls and stands and generally making this a very special day. For me personally it was wonderful to hear all the wonderful stories and have all those special memories and moments brought to life. It was a pleasure to meet past and present members of the Crocodiles community."

This term the school has been very lucky to have received the support of local community members who have given time freely and donated financial support allowing the purchase of some much needed new resources and provide a range of experiences that makes each day special.

Thanks go to Clyro Community Council and Hay-on-Wye Masons for financial support, Herefordshire Environmental Team for the donation of three trees, Tillington Fruit Farm for supporting a visit, Joyce and Terry for building a ramp and Whitney village hall for supporting the pre-school and also allowing the school to add an outdoor door to the sensory area, the Barn Farm Shop for allowing muddy children to visit after their sponsored one mile walk for Sports Relief, Clifford school staff and children for joining in on Forest Schools and sharing their expertise, all the hard work by some very committed staff and parents who ensure Crocodiles remains that very special and unique place to learn and grow.

Happy 40th Birthday Whitney Crocodiles!
