IT has been a busy few weeks at Kings Caple Primary Academy leading up to the Easter break. Class 2 had a bee morning at the home of their classmates, William and Henry, as part of their RSPB Wildlife Action Award.

The class went around the garden looking and listening for bees and spotted honey and bumble bees.

They learnt about the differences between bees, how important they are and why they are under threat. Then they all made a bee nest and listened to bee stories. It was a big surprise for everyone when they were told there was also an Easter hunt and they had to find chocolate bunnies, chicks and eggs.

The whole school performed a wonderful Easter service at St John the Baptist church in Kings Caple, with marvellous singing and readings. Thank you to the Rev Dr Mark Johnson for leading the service. Everyone is now looking forward to their Easter break.
