A NEW application for a retail store is to be debated by Leominster Town Council tonight.
FH Dales was refused permission to build an 85,000sq ft Sainsbury’s store on its Mill Street site in January but the company has now submitte new plans.
Now bidding for a 36,000sq ft supermarket with a sales area of 25,000sq ft, the application has dropped both its request for a petrol station – due to environmental concerns – and plans for up to 50 new homes.
But Leominster Town Council will tonight debate the new plans in order to give its recommendation to Herefordshire Council's planning committee.
Other applications to be considered tonight are:
- An application for 41 new residential homes with associated parking on land at Laundry Lane.
- The proposed demolition of existing building and erection of 29 homes with associated private drive, landscaping and external works on land at Pinsley Road.
The meeting takes place in the John Abel Room at Grange Court in Leominster at 6pm.
