HEREFORDSHIRE and Ludlow College has once again been accredited with the Investors in People (IIP) award.
This is the sixth time that the college has received the honour, which is awarded to employers that show commitment to staff development and employee training is linked to business goals.
The review stated that, following the recent merger, staff at Ludlow College "are very positive, standards are rising and the benefits for students are already clear."
Other areas highlighted include strong planning and communication, opportunities for staff to learn and develop and the organisation-wide understanding of the college's core values.
"I am extremely pleased that our employment practices have once again been recognised by the IIP," said Ian Peake, principal and chief executive at Herefordshire and Ludlow College.
"It is especially encouraging that our new partner, Ludlow College, is now also IIP accredited.
"This will undoubtedly have a beneficial effect of our students' experience of education throughout our extended college."
