A ROSS-on-Wye woman will be representing the county in a beauty pageant in the summer.
Astra Pagan, aged 20, is taking part in the Miss British Beauty Curve 2014 competition in London on July 27 and will be hoping to impress the judges.
The contest is only open for people who are a dress size 14 or above and will involve finalists taking part in a catwalk and an interview.
"I found out about the competition online and thought I would give it a go," said Astra
"I had to submit some some photographs and what was my greatest accomplishment.
"When the letter came through the post, I was expecting a rejection, so was really pleased when it said congratulations."
