Hereford has become a terrible place to cycle now. I used to ride every week to work on my bike and the number of car drivers that would actually catch my eye, and then still pull out in front on me was frightening. Or open their doors along King Street and Bridge Street, its no good being sorry after the event. Please think twice for bikes and motorbikes before pulling out or opening doors.
I hope this poor person manages to make a full speedy recovery.

I live in Hampton Dene Road and have seen the traffic situation deteriorate over the years.Mothers bringing their children to school not only drive to fast but block the roundabout by parking or block our driveways.Cyclists dont stand a chance when its school time.If we tell them not to park on pavements then they verbally abuse you. There are blind people living round here and people in wheelchairs who cannot stay on the pavement due to it being blocked. What do the police do?.They cant be in two places due to manpower reductions..One day a child will be killed and they will say in hindsight that things should have been done sooner.Put in residents parking and charge the car drivers who speed and block the roundabout.
