A MANOR house near Ross-on-Wye is for sale.
Property specialists Bruton Knowles has been asked to identify new uses for the Wilderness building near Mitcheldean.
The house has previously been used as a school, isolation hospital and even an asylum.
"We envisage it could be converted into a sumptuous family home of a small spa hotel," said Julian Capewell, from Bruton Knowles.
"Given its location, it would also lend itself to a number of outdoor pursuits, such as outward bound courses, triathlon training, abseiling, mountain biking, kayak and canoeing and walking."
