A MAN allegedly bit a woman at a Hereford nightclub.

The victim, who is in her 20s, was dancing with a man at Mamma Jammas when he kissed her on the lips.

She attempted to pull away, but he reportedly bit her a number of times on the cheeks and neck while pinning her to a wall.

The woman asked him to let go, but he refused.

She then managed to shove him in the chest and get away.

The woman did not need hospital treatment, but was left with red marks and bruises.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and released on police bail following the alleged incident at the West Street venue in the early hours of Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to call PC Bee Masters on 101, quoting incident 73-s-300314.
