PUPILS from Wellington Primary School have spent a whole week finding out about the history of their village and Hereford.
The whole school had a fascinating time at Hereford Cathedral last Monday morning, learning all about its long history at the heart of the city. Classes also visited the new livestock market, St Margaret of Antioch's Church and a number of historical houses in the village.
The infants also had a Victorian school theme day (Wellington School was built in 1873), and were taught by some very strict teachers. The activities were rounded off with artist Philbert Splosh helping everyone draw and paint some of the great old buildings they'd been to during the week.
