A MAN has appeared in court to face charges linked to a robbery at the Cashino Gaming store in Hereford city centre.

Ionut Juganaru, of Ryelands Street, Whitecross, Hereford, is charged with robbing Adam Jones and Janette Bagley of £2,415.

The 26-year-old was also charged with being in possession of an imitation firearm at the time of the alleged robbery in Eign Gate on Saturday morning.

The third charge alleges that Juganaru was in possession of an air rifle at the time of being arrested.

Juganaru did not enter any plea and spoke only to confirm his name and address at Hereford Magistrates Court this morning

He was remanded in custody dy and is due to appear before Worcester Crown Court in May.
