THE TEAM at Westons Cider have been raising a glass to the Chancellor, George Osbourne, who has frozen the duty on cider in his budget.
Helen Thomas, Managing Director of Westons Cider, based in Herefordshire said, '"he Chancellor's Budget was a good budget for business and Westons Cider are delighted that the duty on cider has been frozen.
"This move is a great boost to Herefordshire producers and it demonstrates that the Government is wanting to support the rural economy via it’s pubs and local farms, who produce fruit for the cider industry."
