TEME Valley and Knighton young farmers put on an evening of entertainment at Knighton community centre last weekend. The nights performances were for those who hadn't been able to see them in Llandrindod Wells during the county YFC entertainments competition.

The very large audience were entertained firstly by Phil George with his Time to Shine entry followed by Teme Valley young farmers entertainment Hidden Talent produced by Brian Thomas, Helen Barrett and Helen Reynolds.

This was very amusing and showed members had a real talent for making people laugh. In the county competition club member Jamie Thomas won the best musician prize and the club had the best technical merit trophy for their shadow scene.

Next on the stage was Knighton YFC member Menna Breeze who entertained everyone by singing. There was then an interval when members of both club served tea coffee and biscuits to the audience.

After the break there was a performance by Teme Valley YFC band The Hollows and then Knighton young farmers performance Baa produced by David Morgan.

This was also very entertaining and the young cast with an average age of 13 years did a very good job of showing the life of a sheep farmer his wife, dog and all the sheep in a very comical way.

At the end of the performances Dan Price of Knighton thanked everyone for attending, all the performers and those who donated raffle prizes. He then said " lots of work had gone into the performances and all the young farmers had done their best". On behalf of Knighton young farmers Dan also thanked the producer David Morgan, his wife Linda and others who had helped the club with their performance.

Teme Valley had already thanked all their helpers at a recent meeting. Young Farmer Phil George thanked Dan Price and Jess Barrett for acting as compares during the evening.
