PETE Beadle is to take control of the first team at Hereford United on a caretaker basis, the club has confirmed.
The youth team manager will be assisted by his former number two Steve Jenkins, while non-executive director Colin Addison will also have a closer involvement with the team.
Beadle took the under-18 team to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup this season, where it narrowly lost to Premier League heavyweights Manchester City after extra-time.
The former Newport County manager replaces Martin Foyle, who left the Bulls yesterday.
His first match in charge will be against his former club Barnet on Saturday.
Hereford is currently four points above the Skrill Premier relegation zone with eight games to play.
