MANY EE mobile customers struggled with poor coverage last week - with parts of the Golden Valley particularly badly hit.

For Nick Cooper-Tomkins, who lives in Ewyas Harold, it was something that he has had to get used to after experiencing problems since last June.

"Three weeks ago, my signal went again, so I drove to Rowlestone and sat by the transmitter," he said.

EE, formally Everything Everywhere, is a mobile network that was formed as a result of Orange and T-Mobile merging.

But, it was not just the rural parts of the county that the network experienced problems.

Ann Simpson, from Whitecross, Hereford, said that it took hours for some texts to be received.

"My husband and I and have having problems with EE for three weeks," she said.

In a statement, EE said that it was aware of network problems in the county last week, which have now been resolved.
