Austin Brookes
A HEREFORD man who has not been seen for three months has been found dead in the River Wye.
Austin Brookes, from Marlowe Drive, Whitecross, was reported missing on Monday, December 23.
The 72-year-old's green Ford Focus car was found near Hereford Rugby Club on the same day.
A body was discovered in the Wye at Bigsweir Bridge, Llandogo, Monmouthshire, on March 6, which was believed to be Mr Brookes.
His identity has now been confirmed and the coroner for Gwent is passing the inquest to the Herefordshire coroner.
