AT an award ceremony on February 28, Hoople Buddies won the St Michael's Hospice Employee Fundraiser of the Year award. St Michael's Hospice held the award ceremony to thank different companies for their fund raising efforts and to award their prestigious Employee Fundraiser of the Year award.

The Hoople Buddies team have worked hard all year running quiz nights, selling cakes as well as supporting hospice events such as the Venus Walk and an American Independence tea party, raising funds for this fantastic charity. The team raised an amazing £10,000 in one year and were very pleased to receive this award.

Mike Dearing, managing director for Hoople Ltd commented "Our Buddies team are amazing. They work hard all year, in their own time, to support Hoople's nominated charity and this year they smashed all of their targets by raising an incredible £10,000. Hoople are enormously proud of the team's achievements and were delighted that their efforts have been recognised."

Ruth Denison, head of fundraising for St Michael's Hospice said "We are very grateful for the enormous effort and creativity the Hoople employees team have put forward to raise such an incredible amount of money to support the work that we do and the families that we help. We are delighted, as well, that we will continue as Hoople's nominated charity for the coming year."
