TOP comedians Chris Ramsey and Russell Kane are to headline the Courtyard theatre's comedy festival in June.

Russell, who performed at the Hereford venue last month, will be taking to the stage once again on Sunday, June 8, while Chris will be entertaining the crowd the previous evening.

The Courtyard is also hopeful of attracting another headliner to perform on the Friday.

This will be the third Court Laughing comedy festival and is once again set to attract a large number of people over the three days.

Last year, the Courtyard sold 1,245 tickets for eight events, with a big increase in online sales compared to the previous year.

Comedy clubs will once again take place throughout the weekend, while the Big Lebowski film is sure to create laughs when it is shown on the Sunday.

An open mic contest will be held in the Wye Valley Brewery marquee with the winner having the opportunity to perform a 15 minute set at a future Comedy Club event.

Live music will also be played throughout the weekend and sizzling burgers served to whet your appetite.
