IT'S time to get on your bike and ride for charity.

The mayor of Hereford, Councillor Phil Edwards, has organised the Wye Ride charity cycle to kick off Herefordshire Council's Bike Fest.

The 5km and 9km routes will be on quiet roads and the cycle takes place on Saturday April 5 from 10am from the Riverside Path on Bishop's Meadow, near Wye Street.

Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for children over 10 or £20 for a family group, with all money raised going to St Michael's Hospice.
