THE president of Knighton Show and Carnival Frances Thomas held her Presidents night at the Knighton Hotel. The event raised a lot of money for this year's show and carnival.
At the event 163 people who dined on leek and sweet potato soup, followed by blade of beef on mash with carrots, peas, beans and roast potatoes, followed by lemon tart.
After the meal there was dancing till the end of the evening to music from Jim McAllister. Frances thanked the hotel and their staff for a fantastic evening, everyone who donated prizes, and those who came along to support her on the night.
Show and carnival chairman Chris Branford thanked Frances and her helpers for putting on an excellent event.
