A CORDON is currently in place after a grenade was found at a house near Ross-on-Wye.
Police were called to Sellack at 2.25pm and immediately contacted the Ministry of Defence.
Explosive experts are due to arrive at the scene at around 6.30pm.
People from neighbouring properties were evacuated as a precaution, but the road has been re-opened after it was closed.
At this stage, it is uncertain if the grenade is live or not.
A 100 metre cordon is in place near to the affected house.
