SERIAL killer Joanna Dennehy has been handed a whole life sentence for the murder of three men in Cambridgeshire and the attempted murder of two others in Hereford.
The 31-year-old randomly selected and stabbed Robin Bereza and John Rogers in the Whitecross and Hunderton areas of Hereford last April following her killing spree in Peterborough.
Dennehy, of Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, was sentenced at the Old Bailey a short while ago.
She is only the third woman to be handed a whole life term following notorious killers Rose West and Myra Hindley.
Gary Stretch, 47, of Riseholme, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, was found guilty of the attempted murder of Mr Bereza and Mr Rogers and three counts of preventing the lawful burial of a body after a trial at Cambridge.
Leslie Layton, 36, of Bifield, Orton Goldhay, was found guilty of preventing the lawful burial of two murder victims and perverting the course of justice.
Both are awaiting sentences.
A third man, Robert Moore, 55, of Belvoir Way, Peterborough, is also due to be sentenced after admitting assisting an offender.
