MEMBERS of the Golden Valley Hunt branch of the Pony Club got together over half term in Clifford village hall with members' Fern and Clover Thomas' pony 'Mickey', and with the help of Hay-on-Wye vet, Barny Sampson, Mickey was painted from head to tail in poster paints to illustrate bones, organs, muscles and ligaments.

Afterwards members were tested on what they had learnt and Achievement badges were awarded for Points of the Horse. It was great fun and everyone stayed warm and dry - even Mickey.

Based on information supplied by Clare Pearson-Gregory.
