Hereford pub for sale
10:03am Thursday 27th February 2014 in News
A HEREFORD pub on the banks of the River Wye is up for sale.
Estate agent Sidney Phillips is inviting offers in the region of £300,000 for the Saracens Head.
The sale includes two bars, a meeting room, seven bedrooms and a skittle alley and, according to the estate agent, would be an "ideal corporate and investment proposition".
The pub has been let on lease to Desmond Davies for the past 31 years.
Sidney Phillips is also handling the proposed sale of a number of other pubs in the region.
The freehold price for all of the venues ranges between £230,000 and £595,000, with the Three Tuns being the most expensive property.
Meanwhile, The Crown and Sceptre in Ross-on-Wye is set to be sold at a public auction next month.
With a guide price of £250,000, the venue includes a bar catering for more than 100 people, four bedrooms and a terraced garden.
The auction will take place at the Chase Hotel at 2.30pm on March 13, with completion of the purchase set for March 27.
