STAFF at a Hereford food store have found something to shout about.

Colleagues from The Co-operative Food on Grandstand Road took to the streets with a giant 'megaphone' last Thursday to encourage local people to have their say about the store and their local community.

Gareth Jones, store manager, said: “The Co-operative is a community-based retailer, which means it is really important to be in touch with what our customers, and the wider public think, not just about us, but also about the communities we share.

“It is our willingness and ability to listen that is at the heart of what makes us different, and today I want to make sure that people in my local area know how they can have their say on topical issues, the way we operate, and our future.”

The Co-operative has teamed up with research company YouGov to carry out the project and people can have their say at www.haveyoursay.coop.
