TOP Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson jokingly said that Ross-on-Wye was the target of a Ukrainian nuclear missile base.
Millions of viewers saw Jeremy and fellow presenters Richard Hammond and James May drive through the eastern European country in three small-engined cars during Sunday's episode.
While visiting an abandoned nuclear missile base, Jeremy said that a SS-18, nicknamed 'Satan' was targetting Ross after pointing at some Russian lettering on it.
Richard lives in nearby Weston under Penyard and this is not the first time that Jeremy has poked fun at Herefordshire.
Last year, he said that a new BMW M4 would only cost 16 groats and an oxen if you live where Richard does.
