TWO people from the Ross-on-Wye area have been charged on suspicion of importing drugs following a major police operation.

A 51-year-old man from Hom Green, has been charged with consipiracy to import Class A and B drugs, while a 54-year-old man, from Broad Street, Ross, has been charged with conspiracy to import Class B drugs.

Another five people from across the West Midlands have also been charged in relation to the investigation.

All are due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning.
