THE third arts-based session funded by Sheep Music took place at Presteigne Youth Club recently. Helen Gane from Montgomery Arts Connection worked with the young members to create a number of small drama sketches. The group created a short advert using different props such as sun glasses and scarves.

Presteigne Youth Project is a registered charity set up to run Presteigne Youth Centre. It is funded entirely by local grants and fundraising, and run by volunteers with support from Powys county council youth services.

James Tennant-Eyles, chairman of the project, said he was delighted the evening went so well and he thanked Helen Gane for her efforts and Sheep Music for the funding.

James stressed how important this project is in providing vital youth support in the community and called for anyone who is at all interested in helping, to get in touch with him. If you feel you could spare an hour or two once a week or once a fortnight, there are several ways you can help with youth work or administration.
