Fire crews were called to St John Street in Hereford.
TWO fire crews extinguished a fire in the basement of a multi-occupancy property in Hereford on Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to St John Street, near Hereford Cathedral, at 10.05pm.
Residents had to be evacuated as a precaution and crews in breathing apparatus used a Co2 extinguisher, a hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the flames.
