THE River Wye remains high in Hereford – but water levels appear to be dropping.
This picture taken this morning from the south side of the river near the Asda supermarket shows the water knocking at the door of the Hereford Rowing Club.
The river peaked yesterday when water engulfed the pitches of the nearby Hereford Rugby Club.
And the picture is no better for footballers looking to play downstream on the King George V Playing Fields this weekend.
Water filled the city park next to the Hereford Leisure Pool yesterday afternoon.
